Hmm

And then comes the last exam syndrome.

It has been around as long as I can remember. The last thing that you have to do for the year / semester transforms into the _most_ nagging, _most_ irritating task ever.

Avatar experience

No spoilers here!
Avatar is a brain child that could come only from someone like James Cameron. I throughly enjoyed it. For it was my 1st 3D movie. I always loved to see 3D images in Stereogram by decoupling my eyes. But here my stereograms moved :). Secondly I love the vision. The story line brings together every adventure, fantasy book I've read to life. The location not being Earth gives Cameron an amazing stage to experiment with images/objects/creatures that the human brain can expand to and imagine.

There was so much detail in every frame, even beyond the 3D image poping at you, the details in the surrounding is so well thought of. Initially its too hard to believe the 10 foot tall Na'vi people, but you get used to in after a few minutes into the movie and start to understand them better. The mix between CGI and real is amazing and the line is so thin that your mind tends to forget which part is CGI and which part is real making it a world with a blend of both.

Also its message is something I live by, Mostly how we have forgotten to feel the senses around us and depend mostly on bits and bytes to tell us all the your 5 senses can easily do.

Then I loved watching Sam Worthington in this as much as I did while watching Terminator Salvation! ;)

No matter what some people say, Didn't live up to the expectations (What did you expect, to be transported to the skies? ;)), Looks like "Smurfs in space"... and all that, I enjoyed the journey to Pandora, the moon of Polyphemus around Alpha Centauri A. A world with a gas giant like Jupiter hanging in the air! html hit counter
